The Blackmagic Micro Cineme Camera has a built in expansion port to control operations using PWM or S.Bus signals. It was originally designed to operate the camera using wireless model remote controls.
The µ-remote is a small control unit to be directly used on a camera rig for simple adjusting of focus, iris and zoom, when using Micro Four Thirds lenses. But it also can change the setting for the audio level, the ISO value, the shutter angle and white balance.
With the new Blackmagic firmware 4.7.1 the framerate and codec settings can be changed too.
The project name is not only a reference to the Blackmagic Micro, but also to its very little size. Nevertheless it offers a lot of functionality.

A new concept replaces the old project. New design, a lot of new features like Bluetooth control or an interface for the Zhiyun servo follow focus control makes it more powerfull.
